Joining instruction<\/strong><\/p>

All learners must have minimum of Emergency First Aid At Work certificate valid for at least 12months before the commencement of the course<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0In line with the Security Industry Authority\u2019s documentation requirements, Approved Centers may accept the following forms of identification<\/b><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

One identity document from Group A and two documents from Group B. At least one document must show the candidate\u2019s date of birth. Each Group B document must show the candidate\u2019s current address.<\/p>

Each document should be the original, physical document. We will not accept a scan or photocopy.<\/strong><\/p>

List A Documents<\/strong><\/p>

  • Signed valid passport of any nationality<\/li>
  • Identity Card issued by the UK Home Office<\/li>
  • Signed UK photo driving license<\/li>
  • UK birth certificate or certified copy issued within 12 months of birth, but not a photocopy<\/li>
  • UK adoption certificate<\/li><\/ul>

    List B Documents<\/strong><\/p>

    • Valid EU photo ID card<\/li>
    • Valid UK firearms license with photo<\/li>
    • Signed UK paper driving license<\/li>
    • Marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate, with translation if not in English<\/li>
    • Certified copy (not photocopy) of a UK birth certificate issued more than 12 months after date of birth<\/li>
    • Non-UK birth certificate, with translation if not in English<\/li>
    • P45 statement of income for tax purposes on leaving a job issued in the last 12months<\/li>
    • P60 annual statement of income for tax purposes issued in\u00a0the last 12 months<\/li>
    • Bank or building society statement issued to current address, less than three months old. You can use more than one statement if each is issued by a different bank or building society.<\/li>
    • Mortgage statement issued in the last 12 months<\/li>
    • Gas, electric, phone, water, satellite, cable, mobile phone contract or utility bill issued to current address within last 3 months. You can only use one utility bill in support of your application.<\/li>
    • TV license in your name and current address issued in the last 12 months<\/li>
    • Pension, endowment, or ISA statement issued in the\u00a0last 12 months<\/li>
    • Certificate of British nationality<\/li>
    • British work permit or visa issued in\u00a0the last 12 months<\/li>
    • Letter from H.M. Revenue and Customs, Dept. of Work and Pensions, employment service or local authority issued within the last 3 months. More than one letter can be used if issued by different government departments or different local authorities<\/li>
    • Credit card statement sent to current address in the last 3 months. More than one statement can be used if issued by different service providers<\/li>
    • Council Tax statement issued in the last 12 months<\/li>
    • Court summons issued in last 12 months.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>

      Identification<\/strong><\/p>

      You must bring with you on the first day of your course:<\/p>

      2 color passport-sized photographs taken recently with no sunglasses, hats, or Bluetooth\/mobile accessories.<\/b><\/p>

      Failure to provide the necessary forms of identification will lead to your not being permitted to sit the course or examinations.<\/p>

      Language and Others<\/strong><\/p>

      Learners should, as a minimum, have language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening equivalent to the following.<\/p>
